Merry merry

We're still without internet over here and it's leaving me feeling a bit disconnected. I've really been itching to share what's been going on with us this month, I just never have much energy after a 9 hour work day and typing on my phone takes way too long. This time last year I was feeling pretty down about the holidays because it took us awhile to decorate but thankfully this year we've got a little more spring in our step. My wonderful husband surprised me today by getting us a Christmas tree while I was at work!! Now that we have a house I was pretty set on getting a real tree instead of our little fake 3 footer that I've had since college. I wasn't sure if it would be in the budget so it definitely put a smile on my face to find this little guy sitting in our living room after a long day. I can't wait to get some lights and start decorating! Look forward to some pictures soon, fingers crossed we'll have internet this weekend!!
