Delighted

I have such an awesome treat to share with you all this morning! Along with one of our Christmas gifts, Keith's beautiful mother sent a stack of adorable photos of my husband as a babe. All of these are seriously ::awwwww:: worthy, and I am so excited to finally have them scanned and saved to my computer so we can forever cherish what a little cutie he was. I have no doubts that our future children are going to be the cutest on the planet with all the exceptional genes we're throwing their way ;)

Yikes, these past few days I have just been in a post vacation funk :/ I want to go back to the beach and not think about all the other less fun things that we have going on... please? PRETTY please?

While I am procrastinating my responsibilities (and since dinner is already cooking) I figured I would share the last set of photos from our winter trip! On our last afternoon in Florida, Keith and I had some time to ourselves before we headed to the airport so we thought it would be a nice trip down memory lane to stop by the library where we got married. We hadn't been back there since our wedding day even though every time we've been in Florida I've tried to make it a priority. We only walked around for a few minutes, but it was still a special moment to share together and I know that place will always be close to our hearts because of the amazing day we shared there with everyone we love.

Fancy

This year for New Years Eve a few friends of ours expressed an interest in getting together and dressing up in our finest for a quiet cocktail party. Keith and I don't usually get many opportunities to get all gussied up, so naturally we were quite excited about it. After a long day of shopping and running errands we made ourselves look fancy and headed over to Ives' house to meet up with Bennett and McKel. The night was spent tasting cocktails, enjoying champagne, chatting about life, lighting fireworks and ringing in the New Year together. I got to recycle our hats and noise makers for yet another year, and we laughed when everyone in the room got countless "Happy New Year" messages at 11pm from our East coast buddies. Reluctantly with the help of Ryan Seacrest we counted down to midnight and I stole a kiss from my love :) It was a pretty great night!
