Wines

Last night Keith and I had loosely planned on tracking down a new food truck and catching a movie, but when we got a call from our good friend Carolyn proposing a surprise trip to Arrington Vineyards to celebrate Isaac's birthday, we quickly changed those plans. Lots of friends have told us about the vineyard down in Franklin and it's been on our list of places to go for awhile so this was the perfect opportunity to spend time with Isaac and Carolyn and to enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather. We can wait to go back! We grabbed sandwiches at Jersey Mikes, packed our own (bootleg) bottles of wine, and had a picnic dinner out on the vineyard lawn over looking the grapes. Afterwards we did a little wine tasting to see what they had to offer, and then the rest of the night we spent chatting as the sun went down. It was a great evening with great friends and I definitely look forward to spending some more time out there in the fall.
